Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Okay, I you have been reading my blogs you remembered me saying I was going to make chocolate covered strawberries. Okay here's what happenend. NOTHING! I melted the white chocolate using butter. At first it appeared as if it was working, then all of a sudden it clumpled up. I took a piece and bit it with the strawberry and it tasted REAL good! So I was determined to make it work. I scraped out the white chocolate and put it in a glass bowl. Then, I threw it in the microwave and set it on 30 seconds because I didn't know how fast it would melt. .::DING::. I opened the microwave and the chocolate was BURNT! EWW! It was gritty and burnt. So my firt attempt to make white chocolate covered strawberries was a dud. I will have to go buy a fondue pot and use shortening oppose to butter. Thought I just share lol.

.::June Update::.

I haven't been on here for a while. I have been super busy with Life. Trying to enjoy it. The job hunt continues. This is the most I have ever job hunted in my life and still haven't landed anything. It's not because my interviews suck it's simply because they are looking for super person. 1 job wanted me to travel the whole state, set up seminars, advertise to bring in more clients, design and maintain current website as well as newsletter and create graphics for them. FOR $12 bucks and HOUR! Are you kidding me!? I told them I was only interested in the design aspect of it. Of course I got the "We pursued another candidate at this time" letter. GOOD! Let me see, I had a phone interview with two dick heads. They had to be because they didn't even know what questions to ask me. "Uhm, so, uhm, do you know, uhm java? I mean javascript? " WTF? Here I was super nervous and they can't even talk properly. Basically it was a copy and paste job and integrate codes into a website (previously made codes). No call from them. Guess I didn't Mesh well if you know what I mean. This job was $28 an hour. That's not a bad pay. No call from them. I think I was too smart for them or too..nah...not because I'm black. This isn't the 50's...or is it? HA!

I am finding this very interesting. I am also finding out what I need to add to my portfolio and continue to study. Programming is where the money really is. Currently I am working on my programming skills. I chose a very poor time to search for a job. Employers are more strict now and trying to get whatever they can for a buck. They won't stop until they find superman or woman!

There's no S on my chest but I'm still super! lol.

Well, this month I have done a website and a couple of flyers. Nothing major. I have been relaxing with the family. Designed a new flyer I will be pushing out soon. My new website will be launched as well.

Stay tuned. 10,000 isn't a lot of money for 6 months, but I want to see if i can make it by just doing odd jobs. Not as easy as you may think...unless you have a serious hustle going on! Let me know your secrets! Thanks!
